A Couple of Firsts

This weekend was warm and sunny (for a change), so on Saturday we strapped on the bike rack and took the bikes down to False Creek. The complete loop - including the bike lane on the Burrard Street bridge was 10 km - pretty good for our first bike ride of the season.

The bird statue is on the plaza in front of the Olympic Athlete's Village.



On Sunday we spent the day at a cabin on Indian Arm with one of our co-workers Wendy and her husband Allan. The cabin is only accessible by water, so we met at Deep Cover and took a 20 minute boat ride, north on Indian Arm. Their little A-frame cabin is very charming, with amazing views of ocean and mountains.







We played a memorable game of Scrabble in the sun!
